Bendigo to Motorhome

Bye Bye Bendigo

Our time in Bendigo is now nearly done. We've had a great time and it has been brilliant seeing Conor, Sarah and their family. They have made us feel so welcome and spending time here had been a great timeout from our travelling. We have been so well looked after. Also feel very jealous of their lifestyle.

On our day out with them we drove through Castlemaine apparently not the XXXX town though. We also saw a Morris Minor exhibition, the cars were brilliantly looked after and amazed how many the cars there. Especially as all from central Victoria club as well.

We went to a local pub for dinner on Sunday together with some of their friends and then back for drinks, a swim and BBQ. This is the life! Sadly leaving on Tuesday.

Hello Motorhome

Monday was spent picking the van up from Melbourne and have look round that city before driving back. 2 hours was a short time for Melbourne but was all we could fit in. Karen booked the motor home it is really nice but absolutely massive. Luckily, its OK to drive as we both felt a little worried it would feel like driving a HGV. It's only a 2 berth but still 8 meters long, she went for luxury over practical as 2 TVs, full size shower and separate toilet with bedroom and living spaces.We've now stocked up and ready for setting off for the Great Ocean Road tomorrow.
