Island Hopping to Siquijor

Getting There
We caught the ferry from Cebu to Siquijor. It took about 4 hours but went relatively quickly. We were in business class which gave us a bit more leg and a film to watch, although that was on a screen at the front and not individual screens.
The sea was calm and it was a decent sized boat so an easy journey.
Settling In
On a first full day here we had an Siquijor island tour again a taxi that takes us round with agreed stops. This driver had good English and gave us a bit of detail as we drove. The tour included a beach, a dramatic cliff, a couple of churches and 2 welcome to signs. We also stopped at a 500 year old tree, which now had a big pool at it's base. The pool contained fish which bite your feet but unlike the ones they had in England some of the fish were massive, the size of coy in fish ponds. It was a wild experience. 7 months of travelling meant our feet are pretty ragged so were very popular with the fish. Karen with Ronksley feet (smelly) was so attractive to the fish that other people were taking pictures of all the fish nibbling her skin.
The weather has stayed really hot and humid so after the tour just chilled by the pool.
Lost in Translation Part 24
In the evening the hotel put on a show at the beach with singers followed by fire dancers. It was a fun evening although somewhere along the line my request prawn kebabs was understood pork kebabs. They were still nice although one bit I only realised at the end was a bit raw! We then saw a few other people asking for food to be cooked a bit more, luckily the following morning my stomach was fine!
